Musikal is a playful display typeface inspired by the expressive spirit of late 19th-century ornamented lettering, reinterpreted through a softer and more contemporary lens. Drawing from the condensed proportions and decorative energy of historical references such as Obelisk by Herman Ihlenburg, Musikal replaces rigid geometry with more organic forms and a subtle connection to the stroke of a pen. Tapered terminals and simplified ornamental details give the typeface a distinctive rhythm—expressive and theatrical, yet approachable and full of charm.

Designed primarily for display use, Musikal embraces its condensed structure and unconventional details with confidence. Prominent downstrokes and ornamental gestures create a striking texture in headlines while maintaining a surprising level of legibility. The family includes multiple stylistic sets ranging from simplified alternates for longer text settings to more extravagant decorative forms, allowing the typeface to shift between restrained and highly expressive moods and inviting designers to explore this playful typographic vocabulary.

West Side Story est une comédie musicale américaine de Leonard Bernstein, Stephen Sondheim et Arthur Laurents, basée sur une conception de Jerome Robbins, inspiré de la tragédie Roméo et Juliette de William Shakespeare et créé le 26 septembre 1957 au Winter Garden Theatre de Broadway. La chorégraphie et la mise en scène sont de Jerome Robbins, les décors d’Oliver Smith et les costumes d’Irene Sharaff.

The Sound of Music is a musical with music by Richard Rodgers, lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II, and a book by Howard Lindsay and Russel Crouse. It is based on the 1949 book The Story of the Trapp Family Singers by Maria von Trapp. Set in Austria on the eve of the Anschluss in 1938, the musical tells the story of Maria, who takes a job as governess to a large family while she decides whether to become a nun. She falls in love with the children, and eventually their widowed father, Captain von Trapp.

The film is based on the 1973 musical stage production The Rocky Horror Show, with music, book, and lyrics by Richard O’Brien. The production is a tribute to the science fiction and horror B movies of the 1930s through to the early 1960s.

The story centres on a young engaged couple whose car breaks down in the rain near a castle, where they search for help. The castle is occupied by strangers in elaborate costumes holding a party. They then meet the head of the house, Dr. Frank-N-Furter, an apparently mad scientist and alien transvestite from the planet Transsexual in the galaxy of Transylvania, who creates a living muscle man named Rocky.

Initially the film was largely ignored by critics, but it soon became a hit as a midnight movie, when audiences began participating with the film at the Waverly Theater in New York City in 1976. Audience members returned to the cinemas frequently and talked back to the screen and began dressing as the characters, spawning similar performance groups across the United States. At almost the same time, fans in costume began performing alongside the film. This shadow cast mimed the actions on screen, above and behind them, while lip-synching their characters' lines.

Les Misérables est une comédie musicale adaptée du roman éponyme de Victor Hugo par Claude-Michel Schönberg et Alain Boublil et Jean-Marc Natel, et Herbert Kretzmer. Après la réalisation d’un double album-concept en 1980, la comédie musicale est créée au Palais des sports de Paris en septembre 1980 dans une mise en scène de Robert Hossein. Son adaptation anglophone par le producteur Cameron Mackintosh en a fait un succès mondial, lui permettant de détenir, à Londres, depuis octobre 1985, le record de durée d’exploitation continue.

The film takes its name from ‘Baby Driver,’ a song from the Simon & Garfunkel album Bridge over Troubled Water. The song is played during the end credits. Edgar Wright, who wrote and directed the film, consulted James Gunn, who wrote and directed Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, before the release of Vol. 2 and its soundtrack to ensure the two films did not feature the same songs on their soundtracks. Wright conceived Baby Driver in the mid-1990s, and it became a long-gestating passion project.
